>> Michigan State University, us and News/Talk 760 WJR radio of Michigan state have launched a weekly radio programme called "Greening of the Great lakes", exploring critical environment-related issues such as land use, water quality, alternative energy, biotechnology and organic culture. Topics range from 'green' architecture to energy-efficient automobiles and alternatives to hazardous biofuels.

>> Google unveiled a new Web browser giving competition to Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Called Chrome, it has been designed to be faster, easier, more stable and more secure for a generation that completely relies on the web, says Google's Sundar Pichai.
