Tom is a lecturer at the University of the West Indies' Cave Hill campus in Barbados. He writes and teaches about energy sector transitions in small island states, focussing on the Caribbean region. He has developed a strong network of national and regional stakeholders in the energy sector and has worked on several international projects in the past.
