Rohingya children, living with their families in camps in Shaheen Bagh, New Delhi, are often seen playing with broken syringes, used band-aids, blood-smudged gauze and used saline bottles. Most of the Rohingya families work as waste segregators to earn Rs 250/day by sifting through heaps of medical waste. The children often fall prey to diseases, including lung infections and severe skin allergies.
