State governments should focus their action towards the key triggers. Addressing these will be critical for the country to meet the targets under Land Degradation Neutrality 2030. According to a statement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the event, India will increase its target from 21 million hectares to 26 million hectares to achieve Land Degradation Neutrality by 2030.
