Auto sale

Car salespersons now have a new hi-tech gizmo to help them move used cars. Patented by the Bland Partnership of Bermuda, the system works on a hand-held personal computer (PC). The PC is programmed with a script, which the sales assistants follow when conversing with a customer. They then enter the buyer's answers to build his profile. The computer also makes instant calculations on loan repayments so the sales assistant is always a step ahead of the customer's arithmetic (New Scientist , Vol 156, No 2109).
