CompuLink Research, a company based in Florida, USA, has developed a computer mouse that can keep off unauthorised users. The mouse reads your thumbprint and checks it against a list of approved users so that only authorised operators can work on the personal computer. Called U-Match mouse, it costs US $100 and scans your thumbprint and checks the match each time the personal computer is left unused for a minute or so.
