There are also accounts of ancient cultures connected to butterflies.
For many centuries, before the Spanish conquest, butterflies, crickets, fleas, scorpions and spiders were studied by Aztecs, Mayans, Chichimecs and the others. Even today, ethnic groups look up to them for explanations of life and death.
