Safeguarding health is critical in these times of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Now, the Centre for Science and Environment brings you shocking details about how something you take every morning for wellbeing and immunity in the fight against the pandemic may not be good for you.
It, in fact, is quite bad and will make you more vulnerable and at risk of severe infections. This latest investigation is bigger than the Delhi-based nonprofit’s expose on pesticides in colas; on antibiotics in honey — it is bigger and more devastating for our health.
It is about what and who people can trust. Also about the deceit and criminal intent of the adulteration business, promoted by companies from our neighbouring superpower.

CSE will present its study, findings and implications on December 2, 2020 12.30 pm (India time) at a press conference in its India Habitat Centre office (Lodhi Road, New Delhi). Though COVID-19 restrictions will mean a restriction on the number of journalists at the physical site, the conference will be accessible on online platform Zoom, for which registration is open.
The press conference will also be streamed live on YouTube, CSE’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages as well as Down To Earth’s Facebook page.
CSE Director-General Sunita Narain as well as expert Amit Khurana and others will be available for interviews and comments after the press conference.
