The Delhi High Court has ruled that soft drink multinational Coco Cola India could continue manufacturing Diet Coke. The health ministry had disallowed flexibility in the levels of sucrose in the making of 'carbonated water'. The ministry had said that although the use of a blend of artificial sweeteners is permissible for making soft drinks, the use of the two artificial sweeteners within the limits stipulated, does not lead to a waiver of sucrose minimum limits of five per cent.
