November 2005: Government announces a review of the 2003 white paper with a view to finalise the issue of nuclear energy
January 2006: Consultation document for review distributed, provoking Greenpeace to file a case
July 2006: The 'Energy Challenge Energy Review Report' is published. It says new nuclear power stations will help UK to meet its energy goals
March 2007: Government's plans to publish a fresh energy white paper that has got delayed by the High Court order
