Missile collusion

WHILE Washington continues to maintain there is no proof that China is exporting nuclear missile technology to Pakistan, US intelligence says it has proof China shipped components to Pakistan that made it possible for the Pakistanis to assemble their own version of the Chinese M-11 surface-to-surface missile.

In addition, an assessment made by S Chandrashekhar of the Indian Space Research Organisation says Pakistan is developing three -- and not two as was believed -- missiles: Hatf-1, Hatf-2 and Hatf-3. Both Hatf-2 and Hatf-3 are major threats to India, but Hatf-3 can deliver a 500-kg nuclear warhead on the Indian Capital from launch sites well in the Pakistani interior.
