An unknown disease that has claimed nearly 250 lives so far, has spread terror in the districts of western Nepal, specifically in Bajura and Accham. Efforts to trace the cause and identify the disease which has been raging for the past two months, have come to naught. The symptoms seem rather innocuous with patients complaining only of light fever, headaches, pain in the joints and loss of appetite resulting in sudden death.
