Teams from two wildlife groups, WildAid and wwf held workshops in nine schools in Bangkok, Thailand's capital, showing children how to identify species on the Thai market that are illegal. The children were also given a wildlife telephone number to ring, which will activate police action. This was to help a month-long police crackdown on illegal animal trade

us Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has been awarded this year's "Foot in Mouth" prize by Britain's Plain English Campaign, for the most baffling comment by a public figure. "Reports that say something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know," Rumsfeld had said at a press briefing. "We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."

Was he talking about the hunt for Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, or negative denotation in language?
