EVEN while the Berlin Summit on climate Change was in progress, 20 European companies, under the aegis of the European Business Council for a sustainable Energy Future, have forged alliance for "promoting technologies it fight global warming". The Council mctions as a sister concern of the Fear-old us group that advises the inton administration on developing vironment-friendly energy sources e wind and solar. Its primary aim is explode the myth that renewable ergies are too expensive. "We want prove that with energy- efficient technologies you can make money," said Lehmann Harry Lehmann, president of Eurosolar, a German pro-environment group, and one of the founding mem- bers of the Council.
