A study conducted by a UK research
group revealed that among women
dying due to tobacco intake the
world over, Scottish women figure
on the top of the list. This is
2/3rds more than in the UK.
Incidentally, smoking is one of the
main causes of premature deaths in
both the countries.
The study which covered over
5,000 adults between the age of 16
and 74, reveals that while the
instances of male smokers between the ages of 34-69 were decreasing, the case of women still soars high.
