THE world’s “environmental emergency” is providing inspiration for a growing movement of artists whose work focusing on habitats and social issues aims to raise awareness. This site is one of them. Actually, it is much more than artwork, though the site’s moniker and the striking images on its home page could lead a reader to overlook its text content. That would be a pity, for the images preface rich textual information. There are the usual suspects: lost lakes and climate refugees. But it also takes us to places that are not always on the itinerary of the media that deals with environmental issues. The feature on the military complex at Post - dam, for example, alerts us to the ramifications of war.
An image-heavy website, however, can make access difficult, and this reviewer had some difficulty in accessing the site.
