Floods in Bangladesh have claimed the lives of more than 130 people and rendered more than two million people homeless. Over 1,100 km of roads and hundreds of buildings have been destroyed by the floods. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the army to take measures to flush out the stagnating floodwaters from the southwestern frontier districts.
