Heavy rains likely to continue for next three days in the Northeast
Incessant rains since Monday morning threw life out of gear in Guwahati as most parts of the capital city remained water-logged. The Bharalu river flowing through the city has submerged several localities and the National Highway 37.
According to weathermen, the rains are currently walloping parts of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and almost the entire northeast, a pattern which would hold on for the next three days as well. Several areas in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya would witness light to heavy rainfall during the period.
