World doesn’t have enough mental health workers

There is a global shortage of health workers trained in mental health and a lack of investment in community-based mental health facilities, according to the WHO's Mental Health Atlas 2017.

In Maharashtra, more than 8,500 TB patients have HIV

Pune Municipal Corporation officials registered 1,105 new TB patients from January to April this year, of which, 1,010 were tested for HIV and 43 were found to be positive with the virus.

Bihar health department wants ‘khaini’ under Food Safety Act

The Bihar health department plans to write to the Union health ministry, requesting it to include ‘khaini’ as a food product under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
