Reportedly, 3 million houses were either completely or partially damaged in the Kashmir floods

A large number of trees were uprooted during the floods

At several places in the city, the embankment around River Jhelum was cut to flush the flood water out from residential areas

People in south Kashmir are clearing uprooted trees from their flood-affected land

It is getting hard for displaced Kashmiris, living in relief camps, to spend nights as the winter is approaching

In many areas of the Valley, people can be seen using home-made boats to commute
