Consumer awareness is very low, not only in case of fast foods but also in case of diet supplements which is a soaring industry fast gaining popularity among Indians..particularly among youth. Given the fact that we are a younger nation in the world the craze of body building is very popular among school and college going youth. Diet supplements like- whey protein, fat cutters, glutamine, protein isolates etc.. are fast selling and youth take these supplements fanatically skipping their natural meals. This is a great concern.
