Saakshi Joshi is a Senior Research Associate with the Urban Water-Waste Management Unit, CSE. A Fulbright alumna, she holds a doctorate in Social Anthropology. Her PhD explored altered landscapes, belonging, and displacement due to dam construction in the Himalayas, India and mountain-top removal for coal mining in the Appalachian mountains, U.S.A. Her current work includes capacity building and policy research for urban water and sanitation management
